Appalachian Digital is Simon Steele's web shop in Richlands, Virginia. We build working websites for small businesses across Tazewell County and Southwest Virginia, and we keep running them after launch, so you always know who to call when something needs changing.
Who's behind it
Simon Steele, Richlands
Simon builds and runs every Appalachian Digital site from right here in Richlands. A lot of small businesses around here still live on a Facebook page and a phone that won't stop ringing, so we build the site that books the appointment, takes the repair or catches the quote request, with the owner's own reviews right where new customers can see them.

Every price is published
It's $350 to build and $75 a month to run, add-ons are priced up front and start unchecked, and card fees and your domain are paid straight to those providers.
You sign off before launch
We make up to three rounds of changes on your five pages, and nothing goes live until you say it's right.
Your price stays put
Your monthly never goes up unless you agree to it in writing.
It's yours, start to finish
Your domain, content and customer records belong to you, and you can take all of it with you any time.
What we've built
- Fred's Fone Fix, Richlands: repair requests come in online, every job gets a ticket number, and customers mail repairs in from anywhere in the US.
- Catalyst Civic: public meetings, budgets and records turned into a site anyone can search and read, holding thousands of pages that still read easily on a phone.
- Nicole Helbert, Richlands: a write-in campaign site that tells her story and shows voters exactly how to write her in.

Where we work
We're based in Richlands and serve businesses across Tazewell, Buchanan, Russell, Dickenson, Smyth, Bland and Wise counties in Virginia, plus Mercer and McDowell counties in West Virginia. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
